Get your daily dose!

This is my first time blogging or writing anything public. I absolutely love writing and I have found lately that I have the time to do it.  I was waiting tables all day everyday until Covid-19 shut us down with the rest of the country. I now have to find work that does not put me directly in contact with the public. I am married to a wonderful man that does not have a spleen,  which puts him in the high risk category of those who may perish if he contracts the virus. I couldn't live with myself if I brought the Coronavirus home to my husband and he expired.  

So, making the best of our new situation, I thought I would try blogging.   You see, I have a friend that recently acquired two new kittens. Not only is he terrible at the daily chores that come along with taking care of animals, he knows nothing about their basic wants and needs.

I have taken on the role of taking care of his new kittens.  He also has a cat that he got a year ago.  My husband and I were already going over daily to help with the chores so it just became another checkmark to keep up with the animals. 

We named the kittens, got two more litter boxes and go over one or two times a day to make sure they have everything they need...and probably some things that they don't need. 

Kittens are full time entertainment! I have so much fun watching them explore and discover all the things they can attack and destroy. They have a room of their own and I have a blast adding new items for them to play with. 

They are also an everyday responsibility. Matilda and Blue were not wormed when they came home. Matilda meowed all the time wanting more food. I have made vet appointments, given them worm medicine. I noticed an uninvited pest on Matilda and gave all three felines a bath in dawn. 

My Yorkie, Coco is seven years old and is very jealous. He had never seen kittens  before this summer. He is not fond of kittens, cats or other dogs. We have taken some measures to make sure the kittens are safe and Coco stays out of trouble!  What did we do to keep Coco from attacking the kittens? 

I thought it would be a great idea to share some of my creative decorating ideas that are fun for the kittens. I would love to share some of my fun decorating ideas with everyone!

It always amazes me how two animals can have so much in common and have two totally different personalities. 

I offer pet and cleaning services to anyone in the South Knoxville, Tennessee area. I also work in Seymour, Tennessee and Sevierville. 

I have always had a love for animals and I find that they seem to like me too. The kittens still run to their room when I arrive.
